Armo Groom is a satirical webseries that fuses video-game reviews with traditional wedding videos to create a hyper-realistic world in which building a personal image is the primal key to establish love and happiness! (Wow too many big words!)

Structure
A narrator walks the audience through several stages of wedding traditions. Each stage is packed with several cultural references.
First episodes display series of game menu layouts and then the screen turns into a first person shooter game.
Main Ideas
Social and cultural commentary of the Armenian lifestyle with focus on wedding traditions is the main subject, that is displayed through fusion of hyper reality across ordinary settings.
The dysfunctional structure of old traditions in modern worlds and the concept of pursuing happiness by overspending are also main themes.
Execution
Menu and game layout design were all made in house and are original concepts. To engage audience several cameos of famous figures has been made across the videos.
The live action footage is shot during an actual wedding and some footage are fused under creative common licensing.
